Will watch any old shit.
Wow. This is scarier than pretty much every horror film I’ve ever seen. It’s so scary because it’s so real and it’s so honest. There are lines in this movie I’ve heard in real life, scenes that mirror real situations and people I’ve known. It’s so scary in its accuracy.
The power of this movie is in perfectly placing you into the mindset of the protagonist, Anthony Hopkins. Firstly he just nails this role completely, one of the greatest performances…
Phenomenally well made. With just his second feature Shaka King shows such an assured hand behind the camera and in getting great performances. The ending is spectacular.
It amazes me that Fred Hampton was just 21 years old in these events and Bill O’Neil was just 17.
