I watched this when dogsitting and being sleep deprived, so whenever the dog would bark on screen, my dog would wake up and bark back... so I watched most of this on mute just incase.
But I loved the action especially the first half, without the dog. Also didn't recognise Patrick Stewart at all? and I love him? I only realised it was him after when I looked up the cast for Anton Yelchin.

Placed amidst a binge of quite heavy, mostly horror films and TV, The Woman Who Ran was the steady, calm conversational story I needed. It felt oddly comforting to me in the way it was following people talking about their phases in life, repeating conversations during awkward quiet moments, like in a realistic situation.
Knowing Kim Min-Hee from The Handmaiden, I loved seeing her in a striped down role, and she was amazing. Seo Young-ha stood out to me too, a mother/older wise figure I admired and wanted her content, peaceful mindset.
Also, cute cat... adds a 10 to my rating!
