Michael's Cinema Paradiso’s review published on Letterboxd:
Afterthoughts: Lanthimos is a genius, as is everyone else who worked on this film. A stunning production, with a delicious screenplay and outstanding performances from its predominantly female principle cast. Loved every second!
Yorgos Lanthimos seems to be the most successful at incorporating Kubrick’s signature style into his own weird and wonderful work to create such a strangely unique voice - so much so that the blatant homage he pays to one of cinema’s finest auteurs somehow doesn’t come across as straight-up hackery; a feat Quentin Tarantino could only dream of.
