Conflict in the Middle East rendered entirely in boner jokes, disco, & ‘80s metrosexuality. I somehow laughed through every single minute of this 110 (!!!) minute movie.

I get the sense Sandler is this gen’s Jerry Lewis — his movies are utilitarian and crude in the extreme, thuddingly pedestrian, totally gauche and offensive. But they don’t exactly age poorly so much as define the era. How even engage with this thing from a critical perspective?
