It was a good adrenaline pusher that had an opportunity to be a great adrenaline pusher. I think had they stuck to starting at 100 miles an hour and staying there, (1) it would have been shorter, as it did go a bit long, and (2) it would have been better paced. There were some overly extended moments, such as extended shots of cars driving and the scenes in the Queens home.
That said, I gave it four stars because it was really really good. So much of it was top rate: the directing, the acting (especially Pattinson, Safdie, and whomever played the therapist) the sound and music, the cinematography. All of it very real, very raw. Definitely check it out.
