    Twentieth Century Oz

At the start of Oz I was like wow this is just really bad, but somehow I watched it until the end without being bored. For a long time through the middle of the film there’s nothing really happening. Also I think it’s a bit to excessive how he tried to replace the original movie characters. Didn’t feel a connection or anything at just point of the film.
Only outstanding thing to mention are the many references to Glam Rock culture.
Mid 70s vibe is really popping off. Glam Rock. Road trips.

    Blood and Black Lace

    ★★★½

Clearly inspired the Giallo genre and 80s slasher films, one film that changed horror cinema forever. Story is thrilling, colors are amazing (definitely influenced Argento). However the acting and especially writing felt very poor and dumb. Also the whodunit was very stiff.

Don’t know, that one is a weird one. It started out SO good but then just drifted somewhere else, not at all what I expected. It just really bored me and I was constantly hoping it will end faster.

Still the best anime ever made

    Joker

    ★★★★

Can't understand all the complaints about violence in this movie, it wasn't even that violent compared to other movies. Also, this is the Joker, so what were people expecting?
About Pheonix there isn't much to say, he OWNS this role, he OWNS this movie. His laugh is still in my head and I'll probably not get it out for the next few days. You can feel the pain, the depression in his laugh.
The cinematography is simply amazing, there are…

  • Summer of 84

    Summer of 84

    mmmh Stranger Things meets Disturbia??
Can't even explain it because it's literally a mix of both movies.
I think the movie could've been good if it had its own story, it was still kinda thrilling but most of the time I felt like I've seen everything before.
The cast is such a poor copy of both, and even the cover is literally Stranger Things 1:1??
Also didn't really feel the 80s vibe. The cars, the clothes, all that stuff was there but it wasn't real.

    The Bad Batch

Weirdest movie I’ve ever seen, a half star only for Jim Carrey
