    A decent giant crocodile film, with some good effects - but the star(s) of the show is the cast, or rather, the interaction & dialogue between the characters.

    A great script with some witty banter, good effects (some practical, which is always great to see). The rest of the series is totally forgettable, but give the first one a go.

    The Meg - while not a patch on the novel - is good popcorn entertainment. When I first heard Jason Statham was cast in the role of Jonas, I was convinced this would be terrible (not that I don't like JS, but he just didn't suit the role for me). However after watching, he did a good job.

    The movie does not take itself seriously, and so the cast feel a bit more relaxed. Many scenes are remakes of the…
