Gaps between languages like the distance between what is and what could have been. The tranquility of this lets the layers to these moments shine, and a trio of phenomenal performances adds all the more texture. Final scene capitalizes on all that had been built up so perfectly. Wonderful movie.

The Iron Claw 2023
Brotherhood, masculinity, ambition, Americana; all given such texture and tangibility here, and thereβs nothing stopping the big time emotions once they give way to total devastation. Relentlessly forceful in its tragic momentum, but itβs the elegance brought to these relationships and moments that raises this to all-time heights. Phenomenal cast, stunning visuals; an all around knockout. One of the best of the year, and one of the great sports movies. A triumph.
