This was a lot cuter and sadder than I originally expected. Viggo is incredibly great in this film and also a DILF. 

The children are truly icons. Little anarchist icons.

Schofield wandering into a calm and peaceful forest to find the singing man still haunts me for its harrowing beauty.

Chadwick Boseman blew me away with this performance. Such poignancy and mastery of the craft. While Viola Davis shines as Ma Rainey, Boseman is center stage as the star of this adaptation. I normally don’t like film adaptations of plays, but this won me over.
