Some of the most hilarious and heartwarming moments, memorable and lovable characters, and catchy songs ever put to film in one of the greatest family films of all time. 40 years after its original release and it holds up exceptionally, with the hysterical dialogue, clever meta-humor, and just plain and simple gags that will have you laughing all the way through. It also pulls on your heartstrings due to the infectious charm of its characters. Jim Henson was a genius when it came to entertaining both children and adults, as this is the type of film anyone of any age can watch and enjoy. The Muppet Movie is able to make you laugh, cry, and sing along all within the span of about 90 minutes. Rewatching it was a trip down memory lane that I had no idea I desired this much and will have me revisiting every Muppets film to see how each holds up.
