Mikey Brzezinski’s review published on Letterboxd:
I've had the insane pleasure of seeing this movie twice now. Once at a quiet and intimate press screening and the second being at a grand robust energetic packed screening at the Music Box Theater and it's a real testament to the power this film wields that I walked out of both of those screenings with the same type of euphoric energy. Not just a loving ode to The Boss himself but also a deeply felt and well-rounded portrait of the inherent universality of all art.
I had the amazing opportunity to interview Viveik Kalra (will post later when we're closer to release) but something he pointed out is how stunningly transcendent the response to this film has been. In the same vein as MMXXL and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Blinded by the Light strives to give its audience the best time of their life and hope they walk out with a new sense of appreciation for people, life, and art.
