“I finally understood how he could roam the world so free. It was because he had a place to go back to”
Great story, but nearly every choice in made in camera work and editing distracted me quite a bit. I realize this is Paul Greengrass’ touch, but for such a slow film, much more restraint would benefit News of the World in every way. Allowing those picturesque and contemplative moments (that end up being cut too short, lit too dark or shot too shaky) to shine. Enjoyed everything else!
