My mom wanted to watch it so we did and we both bawled our eyes out. Death is such a difficult concept to wrap our heads around, specially when we are children so I’m glad movies like this exist. Not to be happy with death but to help us accept it and commemorate our relatives with happiness and love. Not to mention that the mexican culture and every latin culture are just beautiful. This movie is so amazing, i really don’t have any words for it

Maria, these walls were not meant to shut out problems. You have to face them. You have to live the life you were born to live

my heart was RACING in the last scene. These images really were something else, and the iconic first scene didn’t disappoint. My only complaint was how long it was and the songs that sometimes were sang twice, and got a little tiring but that is simply the genre so yeah. And Julie andrews, what a beautiful woman.

I have to believe that my actions still have meaning, even if I can't remember them. I have to believe that when my eyes are closed, the world's still there.

This is so strange, I didn’t like the ending either just like lenny, but not in the sense of “oh I didn’t like the ending of the movie”, in the sense of “I wanted john g to be teddy”, do you know what i mean? Because the movie is fucking…

En barrio de ricachones sin armas ni rencores, es solo plata y no amores

Absolutely loved it. Great heist movie with a great ending, even the credits explaining their story are well done. The cinematography is amazing, there was one scene where they are all talking and the camera is just spinning in the center of their circle and I don’t know why i loved it so much, the colors also help. The story is just immaculate as it is, and don’t get me started on the great selection of music, and the acting added a lot.

Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine

i had very high expectations on this one. It was entertaining, on certain scenes, but i didn’t care for the most part of it. It was very well shot and the acting was good. I felt like it was missing something. I’m still giving it a pretty good rating, cause they really did that even though the war hadn’t finished.

    Say it
    -Im here for a reason

No words just anxiety. Im just thankful I didn’t watch it at a cinema because i had to pause in certain scenes where i just needed a break. Wow. I think my favorite scene was one of the last ones where fletcher tells andrew that he did know that he was responsible and makes the band play a song he didn’t know, it was so infuriating but so goood, and then the comeback? i just loved it.

If I could find a real-life place that'd make me feel like Tiffany's, then - then I'd buy some furniture and give the cat a name!

Im officially basing my entire personality on this movie. Its so simple yet i adored it. Yes, some parts of the acting were questionable but this was 1961, i wasn’t expecting much, mr yunioshi was unnecessary. And i do agree that all men are rats except for paul varjak.

They have killed hundreds of us
-We have killed thousands of them

If you don’t cry while watching this movie you are a psychopath.
I love it. The fear of the unknown and how we react to it is one of the biggest flaws of the humankind, when we don’t understand something we usually see it as a threat and treat it violently. But if we are lucky enough we will find people like hiccup who will overcome it and…

Maybe I should get me a gun and rob the Foodway so they'd send me home

I was expecting more, in the sense of: its so praised and is the best rated movie on IMDb. The characters were great and lovable, specially brooks or in the case of norton detestable, and the plot was interesting, but i was waiting for a blowing my mind kind of movie (i don’t know if im missing some deep analysis or something)

This is my first Yorgos Lanthimos’ movie but it won’t be the last. The performances, costumes, frames, dialogue, everything was amazing. And the music was simply perfect in each scene. There’s something that keeps me from giving it 5 stars but I can’t wrap my head around what it is, still great movie.
