Ruined my ears watching this with headphones but who gives a shit because it was worth it. Certainly one of the most equally unique and funny films I've ever seen, while also having an almost mystical, cursed, forbidden knowledge quality to it. Inspiring in how much it achieves despite being made with obviously so little. True passion and dedication.

And Damon Packard is a genius. The fact that he uploaded his own feature film on youtube for you to watch it for free is also proof of that.

    La Strada

I have a picture of Giulietta Masina in ''La Strada'' on my wall.

    It's this one: previews.agefotostock.com/previewimage/medibigoff/ad8bb9d46095e1a8891ac233019ebbf8/poh-a7a08a87_486.jpg

I ripped it from the cover of some brazilian book about cinema. The book itself was in a particularly horrible conditions, part of it consumed by some form of book-mold, but the cover was alright. When I saw it I immediately thought ''Oh man, Giulietta in La Strada, I watched that film two months ago or something''.

That was back in 2018 I think. It's the favorite thing I have on my bedroom wall. I love this film even more now.

Edit: It's currently resting on my wallet.

I like to slow it down a lot, then you can actually see the whole thing much better and give far more attention to all the tiny details, especially onwards the 9th second, and sure maybe this comment aplies to pretty much Brakhage's entire filmography but with this one it feels almost mandatory given how incredibly short the thing is. It does feel fucking sick to watch it in normal speed on loop though.

Obviously I also wish it was…
