It's fine, but somehow feels vanilla while telling an incredibly interesting and important story. Snowden deserves better.

It's powerful, sometimes. But it's also abrupt (Shia's arc), disjointed (most of Ellen Burstyn's arc), and incomplete (namely, the courtroom scene). Then it goes all fan-service happy ending for the final 20 mins.
