I NEED TO AIR MY GRIEVANCES ABOUT THIS MOVIE

I didn't know anything about this movie going in, when it came out my mom was like "hey, I'm bored, you want to see this movie?" I just read the little IMDB blurb and said "sure, looks like a generic thriller but I'm not doing anything.

The beginning of the movie very much sets it up like that, having Joel Edgerton's (who also wrote and directed the movie) character being the…

Fun origin movie, great action, all of the women in this movie are incredible and I wish to possess even a fraction of their graceful ass kicking.

All hark my new favorite Christmas movie.
A beautiful animated movie that’s equally heart warming and heart breaking, funny and serious, with a dash of absurd yet grounded in realism. The exploration of family, both the one you’re born into and the one you make, is stunning. The version I watched was dubbed and the voice actors do an amazing job.
Easily a new favorite and one I’ll be revisiting.

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)

    ★★★½

After escaping the travesty that was Suicide Squad (I can’t tell you how much I would love to burn that “Property of Joker” jacket and “Daddy’s Monster” shirt), Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn finally gets the time to shine. The movie has its issues, like some pacing and underdevelopment of the other Birds of Prey women, but it’s still a fun action movie. The action is so well choreographed and directed, I can’t wait to see what director Cathy Yan does next. Bring on that Gotham Sirens movie.
