Michael Quinn’s review published on Letterboxd:
A crushing disappointment. It has almost nothing to do with the original Black Christmas, besides featuring sorority sisters. The majority of the movie is shouted political arguments with all the nuance and insight of Twitter. The lead characters are mostly unsympathetic and make terrible decisions. Worst of all it's neither scary nor bloody (get out of here with a PG-13 rating!).
On top of that it was one of the worst theater experiences I've had: people talking and the projection was totally messed up, with a weird blue hue over everything. Of course, I don't begrudge the movie for any of that. It's bad enough on its own.
