This is my first list and it was inspired by a new addition to my personal rankings. We don't like to cry but it happens and theirs nothing wrong with that. I don't avoid these films but I'm very aware when I watch them that afterward I'll need a hug.
This list is focused on moments in films rather than on overall films primarily. I often have found that moments of sadness wrapped in either Comedy or Action are the most effective and impact on me.
I'd also love to have recommendations as to films that I should watch to cause me even more tears.
Some Honorable Mentions in no particular order first, Good Will Hunting, ET the Extra-Terrestrial, My Girl, Gettysburg, About Schmidt, Moulin Rouge, A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, Old Yeller, Philadelphia
With this in mind, on to my top ten
