I loved how they changed up Tony Stark's whole personality here. He is vulnerable, he is weak and he is very prone to anxiety attacks. A complete deconstruction of his whole character, you know this when his snarky persona is reduced so much. Still, he comes out on top because he is the hero, a real hero. With or without the armor, he is a savior.

The story and the fight sequences were very innovative and different too and they juggle the characters well. The only problem was the villain who never came off as a "true" villain. It never felt tense

    Otherwise, a great film

  • Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms
  • Beckett

    Beckett

    ★★★★

Beckett is fashioned as one of those 70s and 80s paranoid thrillers. Oozing with mystery and scenery, it's a great time spent.

One aspect Beckett was different is most of these conspiracy thrillers have chiseled and strong capable individuals which feels like they were preparing for this event through their entire life. Meanwhile, Beckett changes this up and shows a vulnerable man with no clue whatsoever about the events, struggling to survive from his unfortunate situation. That part is fantastically…

  • Miller's Crossing

    Miller's Crossing

    ★★★★

What a great movie. The Coens continue to hit it out of the park everytime it seems. An epic tale of a mafia advisor trying to play both sides and coming out the top.

Some great characters, good acting and a breezy musical score stitches this movie into a great time spent.

The pacing was a bit janky and surprisingly the humor of The Coens was a bit off here. It felt a bit forced sometimes to laugh at

    So, 4/5

Such a slick and cool romantic crime comedy film. Starring Clooney and Lopez who share absolutely electric chemistry and sexual tension from the get-go.

The story is really refined with its dialogues and narrative structure. The characters are all their own personas. It's a fun movie to watch.

Also, it doesn't hurt to see Jennifer Lopez look so Gorgeous

    So, 4/5
