at the beginning everyone is such a bitch that i wasn't sure i was going to like this, but then they all heal each other and you're swept in in the magic and can't help to be endeared by these hurt and neglected little children (and adults!) opening up for the first time. the english moors are such a beautiful landscape in their roughness. and john lynch had no business being this beautiful wtf. the character are a bit one-dimensional as not much of their background is explored but you get the general causes as to why they are the way they are.
i knew this was going to be different™ as soon as "just like honey" by jesus and the mary chain started.
the content of the story is important and interesting, just the storytelling could've been better. all in all, a decent doc.
also what the fuck are these "emotional growth boarding schools" usa? y'all fucked up.
