Round Two. Play.
Even after a second watch of the return of the classic Spielberg we all know and love, Ready Player One still manages to dazzle, excite, and really make me want to throw my fist in the air at how much awesomeness I'm watching unfold on screen. Little hints and nods I noticed more on the rewatch and while I still have the same problems from my first watch - i.e. not enough character development & the clues being a little too simple - there is no doubt just how much fun I have watching the characters interact and the vast world that Spielberg has crafted come to life on screen. Not only did Ready Player One succeed in making a fan of the book happy in its outcome, but in creating a film that is one big spectacle that I love.
