Jeremy Sheffield’s review published on Letterboxd:
I went in completely blind, and that was a mistake. After two minutes of the densest exposition dialogue about a military industrial complex and government takeover, I was almost done with this film. Luckily, I paused it and did a little research. Once I found out that this is the third in a trilogy and it was written by the guy who did Ghost in the Shell, I was back in and happy to sit through the density. I really enjoyed how dark this one went and I have already added the two live action movies, The Red Spectacles and Stray Dogs: Kerberos Panzer Cops, to my watchlist. My only regret about this film is not watching the trilogy in order.
