    Black Widow

    ★★★★

After years of waiting and a global pandemic later, Black Widow finally arrived in theaters and I can say it didn't disappoint.

Black Widow is action packed with some of the best action the MCU has to offer thus far while giving Natasha Romanoff the spotlight she deserved. Her character has never been better than she is here in her own solo film. This is her movie through and through and she shined.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

    ★★★½

Wow, this is a tough one to rate. Following The Last Jedi and hearing sort of mixed reactions about The Rise of Skywalker, I wasn't entirely expecting much. I am happy to say that I did enjoy it though...for the most part. There's certainly a lot of things that don't necessarily make sense and the climax/third act were a little much for me.

I will look at this trilogy with some really fond memories and I thoroughly enjoyed Rey's journey.

    ★★★½

I think The Meg accomplished what it set out to do and that's a fun shark movie where you can turn your brain off for a couple hours. Is it a particularly good movie? No, not really, but it is entertaining.

Statham plays his typical character and I can say I had more fun with this than Rampage or Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

My only real complaints about this were the humor didn't really land for me at all and some of the acting was a little iffy.

If you go in knowing what to expect with this you'll have a good time.
