I had a lot of fun with this mid-2000's effort from Francis Lawrence.
While I'm not usually a fan of this kind of high-budget "dark" comic book fare (Spawn, I'm grimacing at you) Constantine just about hit's the mark with a combination of great effects and playful performances, especially from Keanu Reeves and Tilda Swinton. Hell, even Shia LaBeouf puts in a decent shift here.
The film suffers from some messy storytelling and a gratingly miscast Gavin Rossdale, but otherwise this was a blast and certainly better than many other film's of it's ilk. It's a shame we never got a sequel.
