Born May 14th, 1998. I’m a guy who just loves to watch movies on pretty much any platform, even movie theaters.
Had to watch this for my literature class and then analyze the poetics and themes for it.
Anyways, Denis Villenevue has once again directed a masterful, though provoking, well made movie and is proving to be one of my new favorite directors. My only tiny nitpick is that I wish the ending could’ve been shortened a smidge.
You’d think that a concept like a family road trip mixed with a robot apocalypse would be a bad idea, but somehow, Phil Lord and Chris Miller(the masters of taking bad concepts and making good movies out of it) and two writers from Gravity Falls making their directorial debuts made it really work.
