James Phipps’s review published on Letterboxd:
A very pleasant surprise and one of the rare movies I wish were longer. I was expecting a bit more exploring of the possibilities in mixing zombie horror & trench war genre tropes with what little I knew going in. Leo Scherman went the other way and made a well paced action horror with characters you’d recognize dealing with a different kind of horror than they’re normally up against. It’s at home on the local UHF station’s 70s C movie Saturday matinee that showed Billy Jack, Rollerball, Last House on the Left and other high quality “cheap thrills”.
