  • Death Note

    Death Note

    Fucken horrible.

  • Interstellar

Dope as fuck. Minus half a star for plot holes ...but 10/10 visual perfection. Jessica Chastian is devine.

  • Split

Split..... well it wasn't shit. I really enjoyed it. Old mate shyamalan stepped his game after a string of crap films he released in the early 2000s that pretty much went straight to vhs. I was on the edge of my chair the duration of the film.

  • Kong: Skull Island

    Kong: Skull Island

This film wasn't too bad actually. I was expecting it to be a piece of shit... but something just kept me there... maybe it was the cast of loveble misfits, Samuel Jackson, Tom Hiddleson ... that other guy I cant think of his name right now ... I'm also a fan of films set in the past as this film was set in the 60s during the vietnam war so the soundtrack was great. It had alot of humour inbetween the carnage.. the digital effects where great and the plot was okay too!

  • Ghost in the Shell

    Ghost in the Shell

I had such high hopes for this! God dammit! I tryed my very best to love it but it felt so hollow in a way maybe it was missing something. It was a homage to the manga I guess and they did a great job making that clear with the same recognizable images that all ghost in the shell fans know. I didnt hate it but i didnt love it and its just too easily forgotten

  • The Thing with Two Heads

    The Thing with Two Heads

I find it hard to rate exploitation films because I might be biased in saying i generally love most of them. "The thing with 2 heads" was a bit cringeworthy racist ...though forgivably it was made in the 70s which was an extremely different political atmosphere in those days. I love car stunts and poor visual effects and bad acting and if you like them too maybe you will enjoy this.

  • Altered States

    Altered States

This movie is pretty metal the soundtrack should be in the form of Norwegian Black Metal

  • Moonlight

A beautifully crafted piece of indie cinema. Raw, uncut and poetic. Great storytelling threads through innocent eyes and outward into tangled lives and the journey of grasping to find a place in the world. Stunning

  • Beneath the Planet of the Apes

Beneath the Planet of the Apes

Continuing straight from where the first one left off this one was full of exciting twists and turns as alot of mystery began to uncover. You learn alot from this episode and it sets everything up perfect for the next film. You fall is love with zira and cornielius as their characters develop together

  • Planet of the Apes

    Planet of the Apes

DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL! try watching all of the original planet of the apes films back to back. Everyone should do it at least once! Great plotline and all films have a continuity into the next.

  • The Conjuring 2

    The Conjuring 2

Had a few jumpscares during this but not as much as the first conjuring film. I love the evil nun entity as the side plot.. dunno if it was over all a bit underwhelming and predictable though. Do love the way Wan creates a sense of dread and forboding that is often lacking in the horror genre. Interested to see him step out if the horror realm and try something different

  • The Girl with All the Gifts

The Girl with All the Gifts

It was pretty much another Black Mirror episode to me. ending in grim and bittersweet.
