Naama Rak’s review published on Letterboxd:
A young jewish man leaves his small community and looks for a new home, where he will be accepted for who he is.
He soon meets a post-traumatic yet caring partner from a different ethnicity and the two adopt an orphan boy.
When he meets his mom and uncle again, they see right away that he is different ("He Is wearing a dress!"), but love him as much as they did before.
The family is reunited - the former outsider, the community that once rejected him, his biological family and found family - and they all live happily ever after in a beautiful oasis with no predators.
Holy shit, Disney.
