Kicking myself for not having seen this sooner. Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh might be on my personal Mount Rushmore of movie villains, and there were so many incredible shots in this. Roger Deakins’ cinematography always kicks so much ass.
One of the things I really appreciated is that there were three parties involved — a good guy (Sheriff Bell), a bad guy (Chigurh) and someone caught between the two (Llewelyn Moss) — and never do the good guy and bad guy clash. Sure, it’s adapted from the book, but I still like this stylistic choice.
