    My 6 month journey of completing/ rewatching the filmography of Meryl Streep comes to an end with the film I seem to enjoy ALOT more than the average Letterboxd user.

    My admiration for Meryl is so strong you might think I was an Academy Awards voter. Then put her in an extravagant campy musical alongside Nicole Kidman and Andrew Rannells, I'll be so overwhelmed with joy I'll just be able tolerate the terrible miscasting of James Corden.

    Two films released closely together that depict dementia, coming to terms with ageing, familial tolerance, and boast a high-calibre central performance from a beloved screen veteran.
