soooo yeah, this definitely resonated with me. as an artist who has basically spent the entire year inside (although I finally had two in-person gigs this week!), this felt like he was telling the secrets of what self-isolation for a creative person has been like. I've not been totally alone, I live with my husband, but I haven't seen my family at all in over a year. I don't struggle with depression, but a lot of the anxiety, doubt, and despair really hit how this past year felt directly on the head.
I doubt I will ever want to revisit this because I will likely not want to be reminded of this era in the future. That being said, I think this is the best art I've seen about 2020-2021.
