Guys what if you girlbossed so hard that you became an entirely unlikable character in a movie that’s trying so hard to be The Social Network?
If you want the answer to this question, J Blakeson has it! Shame that it’s a terribly made answer but go off.
Whilst I’m at it, the obvious comparison to law here is to Wolf of Wall Street. The reason that movie works more than this is because it knows that the protagonist is unlikeable, and it knows that we know that, but it says ‘fuck it’ and indulges in the excess.
I Care A Lot just came off as more boring and more shoddily made, and I’m sure if it was more indulgent and excessive I’d have actually liked it.
