Matt Neglia’s review published on Letterboxd:
I enjoyed HALLOWEEN KILLS even less than HALLOWEEN. While I like that the story continues over the course of a single evening, it carries with it the same unclear tone as the last where it can’t decide how much it wants us to take seriously. The kills are more gruesome & brutal than ever before but I’m sorry, a high body count isn’t everything when your acting & writing is this weak & laughably awful. I’d say “Let it burn!” but we’re still getting HALLOWEEN ENDS, so hopefully all of this will truly end on a high note.
