    Twin Peaks: The Return

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I'm sitting in a car. My best friends are with me. We drive through a city. My age is uncertain, but I am free and enjoying this ride. My friends are faceless but familiar to me. I feel warm in their presence. I belong. We ride through this city full of lights and skyscrapers. We dance and party together. This goes on for what feels like days. We turn a corner and suddenly an ear piercing scream consumes all noise,…

    Deep Red

Copped the Arrow director’s cut restoration so I had to do a rewatch with the homies. This is arguably the greatest thriller of all time, it’s certainly my favorite. Every frame is constantly moving with the architecture inducing a gothic mood that is the perfect backdrop to Goblin’s brilliant score. Everything I could ever want in a film is here in spades. A ruthless, comical and mythical masterpiece. Totally unimpeachable.
