Nick’s review published on Letterboxd:
Might be too much to take for some, between the unrelenting nature of the gore and the sheer number of heady narrative possibilities explored throughout. Even if the movie bites off more than it can chew at times, it’s still filled with completely insane nightmare shit that makes you glad that this sick Cronenberg kid is carrying the torch for his dad. The violence often reaches unbearable crescendos of brutality, and Chris Abbott is, once again, the best thing about the movie he’s in.
This movie also contains some of the same tech as “Face/Off,” and let’s just say we’ve come a long way since 1997.
