A bit like early Josephine Decker meets Joe Swanberg, written by a white film bro, but some interesting moments of execution overall.
With nothing left to lose and everything to fight for, Lizard and Monkey are back and better than ever. My friend and I watched this on a laptop, outside in the midday sun with an atrocious glare: the intended viewing experience, I'm told. I felt really bad for Brian Tyree Henry for being forced to hang out with Millie Bobby Brown and token Australian friend for the whole movie. Overall pretty sucky but Monkey had some good character moments.
