    Yes, this feels like what I expected a science film by Stan Brakhage to be. Didactic, hammy acting, aesthetically pleasing, and extremely goofy. More straightforward than I was expecting.

    I’m a formal experimentation person and usually don’t care much at all for narrative experimentation, but this was a pleasant surprise. Found this work screening with mine for the Hazel Eye Film Festival and watched it in the wee hours of the morning (perhaps the best time to watch it.) While evoking memories of I Am Not Madame Bovary and Lucifer,  this film uses the circular aspect ratio in a far more exciting way. The more abstract moments reminded me of Jud…
