Dazzling. Utterly joyous and effective. I'm honestly floored by how much I loved this, especially after how indifferent to Infinity War I was. It's nostalgia done well, it's fan service done well... This is an unbelievably emotional end to an 11-year, 22-film journey, and while it's undeniably had its ups and downs, holy shit was it worth the ride.
I'll write more about this at some point, when I've inevitably seen it again and more people have seen it so I don't accidentally spoil the fun.
A24 has been going hard with their campaign for this film, claiming how terrifying it is and even linking to an article that claims watching it is the equivalent of exercising for two hours because it elevates one’s heart rate. I thought a lot of this was hyperbole. Now I’m not so sure.
