Though there is definitely talent to be seen with this peculiar film, I fail to see a reason for the film to exist, I don’t know what they are trying to say, what idea they are pushing. What’s the point?
Also I heard multiple times that this is fucked up and with a poster like that I was really excited to see some fucked up shit but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought (maybe I just had too high expectations or have become too desensitized to what constitutes “fucked up.” Maybe I need to make a film of my own with my personal definition of fucked up)
There are some good jaw drop moments but not nearly as many or as intense as I rly craved. I think the most shocking (no spoiler) thing had to do with a particular character’s teeth.
Christopher Abott will always be a delight tho
What was my highest anticipated film has possibly become my biggest disappointment because it ended up being just... ok
Might watch again one day
