I usually hate it when people tell me to watch a movie and say “it’s an easy 5 stars” or something like that cuz it puts so much pressure on me and then I worry I won’t feel the same and it’ll be weird (ie Amanda and The Deer Hunter)

That being said, after being told by multiple people of the masterwork of this film, I have come to the conclusion: damn this movie is so good.

While the beginning and middle are great and build up the characters quite well, the final 5 mins alone are what completely devastate me. I was obliterated by the ending. It left an impact on me and it kinda changes everything, setting itself up for a good second viewing. I can’t wait.
