Tyler sentenced to 30 years, half of which is the runtime of this movie
I applaud all things technical, heck I’ll even praise the acting. This film was made for $700,000 and that is amazing.
I just don’t feel like the payoff was great enough to justify the suspense that had been built (which was pretty well done, I spent most of the film on wanting to know what’s up).
The first half had a shock factor and badass tone that left my eyes the size of saucers and intrigue in where the film was going. The latter half I started to realize just how effed up the things she was doing were (even if she didn’t actually do them, which the film never fully confirms either way). The side stories are too unclear for me, I couldn’t quite keep track of them. The car stuff, the lawyer who is related to them, the mother who has dementia or something, I don’t know if I was just not paying attention or if it wasn’t as clearly developed.
