Nova’s review published on Letterboxd:
“We rip out so much of ourselves to be cured of things faster than we should that we go bankrupt by the age of thirty and have less to offer each time we start with someone new. But to feel nothing so as not to feel anything - what a waste.”
I was very hesitant about watching this film. I postponed watching it mainly because of the immense hype, but most importantly due to the fact that I found the age difference terribly uncomfortable. After having watched the film, I still do. However, my views have softened. Especially the cinematography and script of this film are gorgeous. The colors in this film, the colors! I wish my summers could look this dreamy.
The ending hurts my heart. It proves, yet again, that men are trash.
The end credits are done so well. Again, a great artistic choice made.
