This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

On the streaming services they try to sell "Kajillionaire" with the genre "Comedy". The title and the film trailer suggest the same thing. But this film is many things, but only about 10% comedy. The rest is mostly Drama, Arthouse and in the end also a wonderful Romance.
So if you want to see a light-footed comedy as I originally wanted, you will be disappointed. But if you want to see a complex, crazy and tender coming-of-age film, watch this work.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Yes, this mixture of the "Best Of Part One, Two and Three" (unfortunately without any Nazis) is the weakest of them all. But it is still better than most of the other Spielberg-films and Lucas-productions of the 21st century. For me it is "reflecting the trilogy" and remembering "when we were young and creative" - Lucas/Spielberg/Ford have a big 70s/80s/90s-bonus, so they can allow themselves a "Crystal Skull" ...

Nothing in this film is systemically relevant ... but it is a very intense story about a failed mother and her liberated son. Excellent cast, but also sometimes a bit too German (too much mind and too less heart) and a bit too cruel - in the end the Oscar clearly goes to Lara - Corinna Harfouch. Wow!

I think this is a very balanced story showing 18th century realistic life of (the more priviliged) women at this time, but also an 18th century romance in beautiful idealised pictures. Of course emancipation is the central theme and how to come to terms with it. Here I think the solution shown is more the realistic than the idealised one.
