Inject this film straight into my veins. Just wow. The cinematography and score are everything. I never wanted it to end.

The Florida Project 2017
"She's about to cry. I can always tell when adults are about to cry."
One of the most touching, poignant and honest portraits of childhood I've ever seen in film. A very chilling yet earnest look at what exists just outside the "happiest place on earth" and how the realities of life brush up against the make believe of Disney and what life is like through a child's eyes. It painfully highlights the harsh reality of poverty stricken single motherhood in America today. Everything about this film was just brilliant. The performances were fantastic, especially Willem Dafoe and Brooklynn Prince. Sean Baker gets an A+. -
Nomadland 2020
This film, at its core, is a portrait of people. It is a beautiful, yet subtle character study, asking many important questions about what we value and hold dear as humans. The score and cinematography are both stunning, but it is McDormand's performance that captivates and holds you long after the credits have rolled. One of the year's best. I had a lump in my throat the entire time.
