Undoubtedly the least Lanthimos-esque of Lanthimos' films, and for sure his most "normal", though it retains its fair share of Yorgos "weirdness". Visually stupendous, marvelously made, probably the best showcasing of the most prevelant theme in Lanthimos' ouevre, that of the ways in which power struggle affects human relationships. Personally I'd rather see him direct his own scripts from now on, but this remains another great effort from Lanthimos, in an increasingly admirable filmography. Really dug this. And the people sitting next to me walked out, so you know it's a Yorgos film.
