It’s been a hot minute since I watched this. Cheers for the recommendation from my girlfriend to give this another go. I was drunk on beer and whiskey while wearing a cowboy hat on the whole runtime. Plus Gustavo Santaolalla score hits and is gay red dead redemption. Like man is a Master at his craft. Acting is superb. Heath outshines Jake by a long shot. Plus Anne, Linda and Dave Harbour all show up in the second half like what the. Just overall a great movie with a solid story and good themes. Ang lee when he was in his prime.
Man this movie slaps.
Like genuinely strong female leads that actually works and isn’t being forced down my throat like “girl power” mostly hand in hand with the fantastic directing. Also Ewan is amazing, he just chews up every scene he’s in and gives a killer performance while having so much fun. This is what it’s about and I’d love to see more.
Edit: movie 400 of the year 🤙🏻
That was buckets of fun.
Like genuinely hilarious James just had a knack for comedy and timing. Performances were all great form all the cast even the ones that had smaller parts. Action was fun, creative and entertaining to watch. Miles better than the first one too.
Edit: they played a dune trailer and I’m a happy boi cause it was my first time seeing it on the big screen

Hell yeah. That one year delay of Covid was totally worth it. Then tension was unbelievable and spot on. Man my heart was pounding and palms sweaty. I gritted my teeth at so many moments. I knew as soon as we met Cillian Murphy I knew this was one hell of a ride. The performances were stand out across the board. The themes were strong. I especially connected with one…
