Lou (rhymes with wow!)’s review published on Letterboxd:
Ah yes, the classic* story: a woman in a loveless marriage takes on a lover. Her husband finds out about the affair and kills himself. The lover dies from a heart attack after a night of passionate love making. Realizing now that she will never have any luck with men, the woman decides to focus on her one true passion in life: her racehorse.
Oh boy, she sure is passionate about that horse; having visions of him mounting lady horses while she's nakedly feeling herself up in front of a mirror/ in her bathtub/ in the middle of a field.
I hope the horse won't die anytime soon or else this woman will be absolutely devastated/ even more sexually frustrated than she already is.
*It does feel kind of Greek somehow.
