The Irishman
๐ถSo before the light
Hold me again
With all of your might
In the still of the night๐ถ
"And I think that there's gotta be something when you go... 'cause, I mean, how the hell did this whole thing start?"
I Heard You Paint Masterpieces? Essentially Scorsese's Twin Peaks: The Return, Hanagatami... you name it. If you ever thought that some mythical glory existed for gangsters, the illusion vanishes completely during the 209-minute crime epic The Irishman and all that is left is the cold touch of disenchantment.
The glamour stripped down, gone with the wind; you can run away from the law, but you can't escape Death. Facing the inevitability of the human life cycle and the end of an era with Pacino, De Niro, Pesci & Keitel. Probably Marty's greatest masterpiece - what a time to be alive.
