I HATE MOVIES
The second I left the theater, I wanted to turn around and immerse myself in this truly sprawling and alien megabudget miracle all over again. A complete triumph of slow drone meditative sci-fi. The perception altering X-perience Jodorowsky wanted to inject into multiplex minds worldwide. Lynch’s bold images burrowed deeper down and stretched brutalist stark to explore a distant future not too far removed from our imperialist present.
I can’t wait to slip under this movie’s spell large and in charge in a theater again.

Dev*n Far*ci, Richard St*nley, and an A*n’t It C**l News reporter all appear as talking heads in this doc. Extremely cursed vibes. Film fandom and “expertise” from almost decade ago feels as far off and alien as Arrakis.

Took me half a week to finally log a review for this remake 'cause it's so exhausting. Luca G's Suspiria is kind of a mess that tries to do way too much without really hitting any mark over a bloated span of nearly three hours.
