Patrick Pryor’s review published on Letterboxd:
Why does a movie about a galactic railroad start with a cat kid running errands in real time? This movie drones S-L-O-W, but the sluggish pace fits the late night spaced out vibe. Bipedal felines lurch down crooked alleys, gaze at stars, and sit around a train car talking like they’re on cough syrup. At least the synth score yawns ominous and the animation locks into a tripped out fugue when the cats finally get to the damn space train. There’s more Christian quotes and imagery here than Evangelion for some reason, too.
